Vegetable Pizza Dosa Recipe

When it comes to feeding your kids, making them eat enough fruit and vegetables is challenging, to say the least! Nothing seems to satisfy them; if you make a curry, they will ask for salad; make salad, and they’ll think of something else to avoid it. I was having a difficult time too, with my 4 year old who doesn’t eat anything besides carrots. At the end of the day, it is a parent’s responsibility to ensure that a child gets all the nutrients required for her all round development. If this sounds familiar to you, then you have come to the right place! Today, I’ll share with you this yummy vegetable pizza dosa recipe from my sister. It is a simple recipe and can be made with regular dosa batter and finely chopped vegetables.

Method:

1. Mix all the vegetables and keep it separate from the coriander.

2. Heat the tawa and smear some ghee on it. When really hot, sprinkle some water on the tawa and add one scoop of dosa batter. Top with a handful of mixed vegetables and spread it in a circle like a regular dosa. Sprinkle coriander on the top.

3. Sprinkle some ghee on top. When the bottom is well roasted, flip it and roast the other side.

Your vegetable pizza dosa is ready!! You can also spread some sauce on the dosa and top with grated cheese – this will make it very attractive to kids! You can also serve it with sweet or spicy chutney. This is a great idea for a lunch box and can also be served for breakfast or for an after school snack. Try it out and you’ll not have a problem with your child eating vegetables anymore!
