1. Put the oats in a saucepan and add water to it.

2. Add turmeric powder and cook the mixture on a medium flame for about 7-10 minutes or until the oats are cooked. Season the porridge with roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder and salt.

3. Mix well , cook for 1 minute or so and put off the flame.
