How to Celebrate Safe and EcoFriendly Holi with Kids

1. Apply sunscreen over the exposed area of skin like face and arms.
2. Oil the hair well before venturing out to play holi.
3. Use eco friendly natural homemade holi colors.
4. Maintain adequate hydration by drinking water as the hot sun will suck up all your energy.
5. Save water by using PichKaris.
6. Keep the first aid kit ready for any emergencies.
7. Take a bath immediately after the celebration with a mixture of besan, curd and turmeric which removes the colors efficiently.

1. Do not use eggs, mud, varnish to play Holi.
2. Do not apply colors in areas near to eyes, nose and mouth and open wounds.
3. Do not pour colors over plants and animals.
4. Do not play with colors if you have known allergy to colors or you are an asthmatic.
5. Do not apply kerosene to remove the colors.
6. Never allow the children to play unattended.
7. Do not allow the kids to drop water balloons on each other as the quality of the water may be poor and may result in infections.
