Healthy Whole Wheat Momo Recipe for Kids

Momos is an all time favorite snack of my hubby and whenever we go out it is always the first thing to be ordered.

Once Onish got to taste it and he loved it immediately wanting more.

So I decided to try it for my toddler.

I have created this recipe with some input from my mom and some from the Chef Google !!

Ingredients

For the dough:

Knead a firm dough and keep it aside covered with a wet muslin cloth for an hour.

For the filling:

Whole Wheat Vegetable Momos Recipe for kids

1. Add ghee in a pan.

2. Add garlic and ginger and saute.

3. Add onions and saute well.

4. Add all the veggies and Cook.

5. Add paneer and cook for few seconds.

6. Add salt and black pepper powder accordingly.

7. Â Let the filling cool down.

8. Take a small ball from the dough.

9. Roll it into a very thin chapati.

10. Put some filling in the chapati and shape it like s momo or use a momo mould to prepare momos.
11. Repeat for the rest of the dough.
12. Prepare a steamer and steam the momos for about 20 minutes.

13. Serve with dip of your choice.

A healthy whole wheat momos for your little one's evening snack

INGREDIENTS
  • For the dough
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ cup wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • ¼ tsp baking powder.

  • 2tbsp ghee
  • 2-3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 carrot grated
  • ½ cup bellpeppers finely chopped(red yellow green)
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup paneer crumbled
  • ½ cup cabbage finely chopped
  • Salt
  • Black pepper powder
METHOD
