Grape Juice for Babies

Grape juice makes a good baby food, it is advisable to give grape juice by the end of 6 months.

When Can I give Grape Juice for Baby?

According to AAPÂ , Fruit juices should be introduced only after 6 months and should be given through cup rather than bottles. Limit the consumption of juice to 4-6 ounces per serving. Avoid adding sugar to the juice.
Grape juice can be given twice a week.Â

How to choose and wash grapes for baby?

Either green or purple grapes can be used, wash the grapes well with salt and turmeric and then water.

How to make Grape Juice for Babies?

1. You can choose either sweet purple or green grapes without seeds. Please taste them to check whether they are sweet or sour.Â

2. Select 4 or 5 grapes.

3. Sterilize all the utensils with hot water or steriliser.

4. Take 50 ml water in a Vessel.Â

5. Bring it to boil.
6. Remove the vessel from the flame and add the grapes to it and cover it with a lid. Leave them for awhile.

7. Remove the lid and check whether the grapes are cooked.Â

8. Wash your hands with disinfectant, remove the skin of the grapes, and mash the pulp nicely so that you get a pulpy mixture.

9. Sieve the pulpy mixture.Â

10. “Your grape juice is ready!!!
