Fruit and Nut Granola Recipe for Kids

The fruit and nut granola combines the goodness of dry fruits and nuts.

It is rich in Iron and other nutrients.

It is an energy bar and makes a great travel snacks for children.

How to make Fruit and Nut Granola Bar for kids?

Dry Ingredients:

Wet Ingredients:

METHOD:

1. Grease and line a 7x11x2 inch cake tin with baking parchment.

2. Take all the dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk. Keep aside.

3. In a large bowl, add milk, oil, sugar and vanilla. Beat till the sugar is dissolved.

4. Fold in the dry ingredients and mix well to form a thick mixture

5. Spread it in the lined tin and level it.

6. Baked in a pre heated oven at 180 c for 40 minutes.

7. Garnish with chocolate syrup, flaked almonds or chocolate chips.

8. Store in an air tight container for upto 10 days.

  • ¾ cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ cup almonds, flaked
  • ¼ cup Dried dates,
  • chopped¼ cup dried Raisins
  • Wet Ingredients
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
