Eggless Oats Cookies for Toddlers

Traditionally, every home in India used to have at least one pack of biscuits or cookies in the kitchen cupboards. However, with all the awareness about the harmful substances in store bought biscuits, this trend is soon changing, with Moms opting for other homemade snacks for their kids. But there’s something about a nice warm cookie that’s so appealing – maybe it’s the soft crunch, followed by that sweet, nutty flavor. So what do you do when your family craves cookies but you don’t want to buy the synthetic ones? Why, bake your own!!

These eggless oats cookies are among the easiest you can make, with healthy ingredients too. The first time I tried this recipe was from here, since it doesn’t have any baking powder or soda. It does have white sugar, but you can replace it with brown sugar if you like. The best part is that it is made of ground oats, a superfood that has many nutritional benefits for children.
