Summer is here, and including curd in kids diet can do wonders to beat the heat.
This curd fritters recipe can be given as snacks in the evening.
It is both yummy and healthy
Curd Fritters Recipe for Kids
The curd fritters is made from Hung curd. hung Curd can be easily made at home. Tie some curd in a muslin cloth and leave it hanging for 3 to 4 hours till water drains off completely. Another method, Pour the curd into a seiver with a bowl underneath and close with a lid and leave it for 3 to 4 hours, thick hung curd will remain in the seive.
Ingredients
- 1 cup hung curd
- 1/2 cup finely chopped bellpeppers
- 1 onion finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- 1Â tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala optional
- 1 tsp ginger past
- 5 tbsp rice flour
- Oil for frying
Method
- In a bowl take hung curd.
- Add bellpeppers and onion to it.
- Add all the seasonings and ginger paste.
- Add rice flour leaving aside 1 tbsp for rolling.
- Mix well.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it like a small disc or kabab.
- Roll it in rice flour and keep aside.
- Repeat the same for rest of the mixture.
- Shallow fry or deep fry.

Serve with dip if your choice.
A nice and healthy evening snack.
