Oats porridge is the easiest way for Moms to introduce oats in their baby’s diet. But your baby doesn’t have to be stuck with plain boring oats porridge every single day! You can change things up by introducing some carrot to make a Carrot Oats Porridge! For young babies, add pureed carrot, but as they grow, you can increase texture by adding grated carrot instead.
Carrot Oats Porridge for Babies
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of Little Moppet Foods Organic Oatmeal or ½ cup of Oats
- ½ cup of Carrot Puree/ Grated Carrot
- Pinch of Jeera or Pepper Powder
- A pinch of turmeric powder
Instructions:
1. Add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
2. Add oats and stir well without lumps.
3. When the oats is three fourths cooked, add the carrot puree and stir well.
4. Add jeera and pepper to taste.
5. Add a pinch of turmeric powder and mix well.
